As a trusted partner to a range of businesses in the UK, our capability to maintain a high level of cyber security is of utmost importance. Nevertheless, cyber threats are an ongoing challenge, however, our Cyber Essentials Plus certification establishes another step in our journey to continuously improve our cyber security protocalls and confirms our ongoing pledge to ensure our client’s data is kept safe.
WHAT IS CYBER ESSENTIALS PLUS?
Cyber Essentials Plus is a digital security accreditation process that validates that all who hold this certification take cybersecurity seriously. Fundamentally, the certification ensures a high level of confidence and reliability as it’s supplied by a third-party, independent auditor.
Approved by the UK Government, the Cyber Essentials scheme sets out a guideline of procedural controls to help organisations protect themselves against common online security threats, such as phishing attacks, malware, ransomware, and network attacks.
The scheme evaluates an organisations cyber defenses based on five key cyber security controls: secure internet connection, device and software security, secure access control to data and services, malware and virus protection, and effective patch management.
Applied correctly, these procedural controls can protect against 80% of common cyberattacks.
Our Data Protection Officer, Amit Simon stated “The Cyber Essentials Plus certification, reaffirms that we are serious about data security and keeping our client’s data safe. We continue to review our systems and processes to protect ourselves and our clients as best we can from the evolving threats in the digital space.”
